The challenge
Organisations that run Kofax platforms depend on them every day: capture feeds their core systems, and their customer communications go out under their own name. That makes upgrades and new builds high-stakes.
An upgrade is rarely just a version change. Export connectors and workflow agents written for an older release have to be rewritten, and communications have to meet the requirements of every market they serve.
What we built
- Kofax Capture upgrade for Liberty Insurance. We upgraded the capture platform and rewrote its export connectors and workflow agents as part of the migration.
- Kofax Capture upgrade for Permanent TSB. The same scope: a platform upgrade with the export connectors and workflow agents rewritten for the new release.
- Output document management for Daimler Truck Financial Services. For the rollout of its financial system for trucks, we built customer communications in Kofax Communications Manager to the individual requirements of each market.
- Customer communications for Atlas Copco. For Atlas Copco's global SAP Cloud for Sales (C4C) rollout, we built the customer communications in Kofax Communications Manager.
- Customer communications for Goudse. We built customer communications for the insurer in Kofax Communications Manager.
- A reusable communications platform for Co-op Insurance. As lead consultant and KCM subject-matter expert, we designed the communications architecture for reuse, built reference libraries and automated testing, set up the development and release-to-live processes, wrote the development guidelines and trained the in-house and offshore teams.
The result
- Both capture platforms were moved to a current release, with their export connectors and workflow agents rewritten rather than carried over.
- Daimler Truck Financial Services, Atlas Copco and Goudse have their customer communications in Kofax Communications Manager, with Daimler's shaped to each market's requirements.
- Co-op Insurance's communications are built on reusable objects, for faster delivery and easier management.
