What is intelligent document processing (IDP)?
Intelligent document processing uses AI to read documents the way a person would: it recognises the document type, finds the relevant information and turns it into structured data. Unlike simple OCR, it copes with varied layouts and flags low-confidence results for human review.
Which documents can you automate?
Typical examples are bank statements, invoices, receipts, claims forms, applications and correspondence. If your team re-keys data from a document today, it is usually a good candidate.
Does it work with our existing systems?
Yes. We deliver extracted data to your existing systems through APIs, databases or file exchange, and can extend an existing Tungsten/Kofax installation rather than replace it.
How accurate is AI extraction, and what happens when it is unsure?
Accuracy depends on your documents, so we measure it on your real samples during discovery. Each extracted value carries a confidence score; anything below your threshold goes to a person to check, so nothing uncertain flows through unseen.
